This program aims to aid women who wish to advance their education and acquire new occupation training and skills.

The awarding of the AARP Women’s Scholarship is based on the demonstrated financial need of the applicants. The committee also takes into consideration the applicant’s accomplishments, academic aspirations, and individual situation. The scholarship money can be used for paying the tuition, books, and certain school fees of the students.

The Jeanette Rankin Foundation Scholarship Fund is awarded to a low-income woman (35 and up) who is studying in, or gained acceptance from, any ACICS or regional certified school.
