The minimum scholarship award is $500. However, the organization could renew and add $750 each year to the scholarship grant of academically exceptional awardees.

The Patsy Takemoto Mink Foundation Scholarship is awarded to applicants who are 17 or older. For this year, 2011, the educational support to be given to five awardees amounts to $2,000 each. Successful applicants are normally notified by phone or email. If you’re interested, you can file your application on May 1 of this year.
